joined the team at Mason and Mason Dentistry. Dr. Ghanta knew he wanted to
be a dentist the day he got the braces off his own teeth. He is compelled
people and feels strongly that dentistry is the way for him to do so.
Dr. Ghanta graduated with a degree in psychology from Texas Tech University and a degree in neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas before moving to Boston to attend dental school at Tufts University. He was a member of the Implant Study club and was a clinical teaching assistant in dental school. He spent a year practicing dentistry in Dallas before enrolling in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Wichita State University, where he received extensive training in some of the most advanced dental procedures such as implantology, prosthodontics, periodontology, endodontics and oral surgery, along with many other general dentistry disciplines. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and he is working on gaining the prestigious Fellowship status. He has helped others through mission work in Guatemala and here at home in the Kansas Mission of Mercy program.
Dr. Ghanta had planned to return to his hometown of Odessa, Texas, but after spending time in Wichita, he fell in love with the people and what the city has to offer. His fiance’, Amrita, is a children’s dentist and will be starting her career here as well. She has just finished her specialty program in Providence, Rhode Island, and is moving to Wichita to join the team at ICTeeth. We are fortunate to have both of these tremendous individuals join the dental community. Please help us welcome them to Wichita.
